About Seth

Seth Garrido is a Washington-based singer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist known for blending roots-inspired storytelling with a wide range of American musical traditions. Based in the mountain town of Leavenworth, his music draws from country, folk, jazz, soul, and classic Americana, reflecting both his eclectic influences and his background as a trained jazz musician.

A lifelong Washington resident, Garrido studied saxophone, composition, and jazz performance at Central Washington University, where he developed a deep appreciation for improvisation and musical versatility. Over the years he has performed in a variety of ensembles and projects, appearing as a saxophonist, guitarist, and vocalist before ultimately stepping into the spotlight as a solo artist and songwriter.

In 2021, Garrido released his debut solo album Heavy Handed Heart, a collection of original songs that showcases his soulful voice, wry lyrical perspective, and genre-spanning influences—from outlaw country and folk balladry to hints of gospel and jazz phrasing. His songwriting is rooted in storytelling and human connection, often pairing heartfelt themes with a relaxed, authentic musical style.

A regular presence on stages across Central Washington, Garrido performs both solo and with collaborators at festivals, wineries, breweries, and music venues throughout the region. Whether fronting a band or playing an intimate acoustic set, he is known for warm stage presence, improvisational musicianship, and songs that bridge rural roots music with jazz-influenced sensibilities.
